Achelousaurus horneri Naming persons...Sampson/1995 Ceratopsidae ／Centrosaurinae 6m long/Late Cretaceous/Montana This centrosaurine dinosaur possesses a large, flat horn boss over its nose, used during ceremonial battles in favor of the dangerous pointed horns of other ceratopsians. A similar boss adorns the head of related Pachyrhinosaurus canadensis.
