Many hundreds of whole skeletons.Rioarribasaurus colberti has been rejected as reported in the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature, opinion #1842. They are considered junior objective synonyms of Coelophysis bauri. The new type specimen of Coelophysis bauri is AMNH (American museum of Natural History in New York) 7224, which is the Hunt and Lucas 1991 type specimen Rioarribasaurus colberti. It is also known affectionately (?) as the Ghost Ranch theropod. |
