Now known absolutely to be an enantiornithine bird.

Recovered from the Hell Creek Formation (Maastrichtian) of Montana. Two additional specimens have been referred to either as Avisaurus sp.- a small right metatarsal from the Lecho Formation of Argentina (previously referred to as an enantiornithid bird by Walker (1981) and another speciman of a right metatarsus, again from the Hell Creek of Montana. Now known absolutely to be an enantiornithine bird.
