Confuciusornis sanctus, one of the first true beaked birds
Based on a generic composite of several skeletons
from the GMV and IVPP in China. The beak is rendered upturned slightly
based on the holotype of the possible synonym Confuciusornis dui, unknown in other specimens so far (noting that
of the hundreds of specimens, only a few are referred to other species,
