Allosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur and was one of the most abundant predator living in North America during the late Jurassic. Allosaurus had a big head; its skull had bumps above the eyes and a ridge along the top running from between the eyes to the tip of the snout. Its jaws had blade-like teeth.
