Amphicoelias
> A.altus (Cope,1877)
>> A.
fragilimus (Cope,1878).
Amphicoelias altus is known from two dorsal vertebrae, a
pubis, a femur, and the arbitrarily assigned scapula, coracoid and
ulna, representing a very large diplodocid from the top of the
Morrison Formation. McIntosh sees "no reason not to consider [A.
fragillimus] a very large individual of A. altus". (1998, Modern
Geology 23:481-506). |
