General information


Anchiceratops, which means "face near to horn" was named by the palaeontologist Barnum Brown in 1914. Anchiceratops lived in Canada during the Late Cretaceous.
It had a massive head, long horns above its eyes and a long frill above its shoulders, and a short nose horn.
