INFO Based on three teeth found in the central Kyzylkum desert, Bissekt Fm (Turonian) Uzbekistan. Etymology of genus: From the continent Asiamerica, considered to have been a single land mass during the Coniacian. Comparable to other teeth found in the Dabrazinskaya Fm. (Santonian) Kazakhstan and North America that have been illustrated but not formally described. Nessov cautions that these unusual teeth may belong to saurodont fish rather than to dinosaurs. Holotype: Three teeth, unnumbered, differing from one another in size by factors of 2 and 3.
