Bagaceratops > B.rozhdestvenskyi
Named for its size: probably smaller in size than other
protoceratopsids. B. rozhdestvensky has a short snout and frill, an
additional antorbital fenstra, and a prominent nasal horn
core.
It seems possible that al of the basal ceratopian specimens
from the Barun Goyot Fm. perttain to a single species. The
most appropriate name for that taxon is Bagaceratops
rozhdestvenskyi. Brevicaratops
may be regarded as a junior synonym of Bagaceratops
