Feinberg's Bambi-Thief


Bambiraptor feinbergorum
(Burnham, Derstler, Currie, Bakker, Zhou & Ostrom, 2000 emended Olshevsky, 2000)

    Bambiraptor feinbergorum is a small, sickle-clawed carnivore of late Cretaceous North America.  It is a small, birdlike deinonychosaur, similar to Sinornithosaurus and Velociraptor.

Thanks to Bruce Shillinglaw and Michael Corriss for telling me where to find more information about B. feinbergorum, and Scott Hartman for letting me have a look at his great skeletal reconstruction of Bambiraptor feinbergorum.
