Cathetosaurus Jensen, 1988 (Great Basin Nat 48 (2): 121. NcZ) "upright lizard"
KATH-e-to-SAWR-us (Gr. kathetos "vertical, upright" + Gr. sauros "lizard") (m) named for the construction of the pelvis, which supposedly indicated a sauropod that could rear on its hind legs to feed. [= Camarasaurus Cope, 1877]
