Technician Kevin Aulenback from Canada’s Royal Tyrell Museum of Palaeontology prepares a newfound fossil from China called Caudipteryx zoui. A speedy runner, Caudipteryx looked like a dinosaur but was covered with feathers; the feathers lacked the aerodynamic quality necessary for flight.
