Skull and associated fragmentary postcranium, 3 fragmentary postcrania. C.gracilis was only about 1,3 ml. The skull has neither a crest nor a dome, the ilium is shallow, the second and third fingers are slender, and the claws were narrow and slightly curved. Nests and embryos are known from this animal, which appear to have broadedtheir eggs like birds. The second and third digits of the habd are subequal in length as in Oviraptor, but each ungual lacks the well-developed 'lip' above the interphalangal articulation.
