General information


Corythosaurus was named by Barnum Brown in 1914 and it means "helmet lizard".

Corythosaurus was a large plant-eater dinosaur with a toothless beak and batteries of cheek teeth. Corythosaurus had a high crest on top of the head, this crest was narrow from side to side. Female and young Corythosaurus had smaller crest thant the male.
