Diapsida: Prolacertilia: Sharovipterygidae

All main groups of animals alive today, such as frogs, turtles, crocodiles, mammals, and probably birds, had appeared by the end of the Triassic. This was also the time when the reptiles started to fly, although awkwardly at the beginning. Sharovipteryx mirabilis was one of the earliest flying reptiles.
